“I am going to make everything around me beautiful - that will be my life.”― Elsie de Wolfe

hannah polak is an artist and interior designer based in amsterdam and berlin, with a deep-rooted passion for creating soulful, layered interiors. growing up as the daughter of interior architect mara eijsbouts, she was immersed in the world of design from an early age — surrounded by exquisite wallpapers, rich textiles, and carefully curated spaces. this early exposure shaped her keen eye for detail and composition.
after earning her bachelor of fine arts from the royal academy of arts in the hague, hannah lived in los angeles, exploring music and teaching yoga before returning to her true calling — interior design. her diverse creative background informs her approach:
"a home is where everything we explore in art and spirituality comes together. it’s a composition of forms, colors, and materials, but also a reflection of our inner world. it should be a place to live, learn, and truly be yourself."
hannah’s interiors are eclectic, worldly, and deeply considered, shaped by her wide-ranging experiences and influences. her work is a seamless blend of art, design, and storytelling, creating spaces that feel timeless, expressive, and profoundly personal.
